Background
I have been drawing and painting since I was kid! Customizing figures started with my dad and I repainting Joes, when I was little. That eventually made a comeback, with me, in 2019. He was my first customer and continues to challenge me with projects!
Current Action Figures
I have the distinct pleasure of doing the Paint Masters for one of the most exciting current production lines, Callsign: Longbow! This project was successfully funded on Kickstarter and is slated to be delivered early 2024. These figures are still up for pre-order at https://cslongbow.com/
Sculpting
Some projects require me to modify or sculpt on top of existing features. Usually they are fairly small, like sculpting a hat or facial hair. Occasionally, it means creating parts of a figure that never existed. Generally I use Milliput or Green Stuff to get this effect. This Sgt. Slaughter, for example. The details of his shirt; the pockets, collar, front seam and rolled sleeves were all sculpted. His head was far too narrow, so I broadened his cheek bones, enhanced his jaw, as well as extended and widened his sunglasses, moustache, and hat brim.
